Warm & Spicey For Fall

welcome freinds wheelbarrel pumpkinsI’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a few days. We have been switching over to a new host and of course, little gremlins were haunting us! Ah, ’tis the season!

Speaking of seasons, nesting season is soooo officially here! We have had nothing but cold, rainy weather for days. I’ve pulled out the turtle neck sweaters, wool blazers and knit scarfs! What’s it like where you live???

If you want to dress your nest for fall, I love this welcoming idea {above} from BHG.com. Wouldn’t this be a great way to greet fall guests?

Inside your home, if you want to spice up your walls, try 1148 Concac Snifter from Benjamin Moore Paints. It’s a wonderfully spicey copper with a bit of bronze. The online swatch doesn’t do the color justice, so take a look at the real thing at your local BMP store.

For more fall inspiration, check out this wonderful Vermont home of former Country Living publisher Ron Galotti. beautiful fall table cl mag ron galottiWhat an amazing home in such a picturesque setting! {And here’s an FYI . . . if you’re a fan of the TV show Sex and the City, Ron was the inspiration for Mr. Big . . . personally, I think the original looks way better than the copy. Be sure to check out the story for pics!}

Oh how I wish we had a fall here … it’s been 90! YUCK! I’m so ready to wear my cute fall and winter clothes (having been from Virginia orignially I can’t loose that side of me no matter how long I’ve lived in Florida)!

Caron, I can relate! I lived in San Diego for 10 years and felt the same way when September rolled around!
