Summer on the North Coast means “sale-ing” season and I’m not talking about sailing on Lake Erie. I’m talking about going to yard and garage sales!
I’m a third generation yard “saler.” When I lived in San Diego I went to tag sales all year round. The season here is more like May thru some time in September.
My sister in Georgia loves to sale and so do I. It’s the thrill of finding a deal. We have found the best stuff and such great deals!
In my living room I have a rocking chair that I bought when I lived in San Diego. It’s made the trip cross country to Georgia and now to Ohio.
I found the greatest deal on this dining room table, chairs and three bar stools. It was on a Thursday so I could not believe the steal I got on this Ethan Allen farmhouse set. Guess what I paid for the table, six chairs and three bar stools. Remember, 
they are Ethan Allen. . . .

Nope . . . how about $75 for ALL OF THEM! Gotta love sale-ing season!

Hi, Great find on those dining chairs and stools! I’ve been looking for bar stools all summer and can’t find them! I think my best deal has been a dresser I scored for $5 at an estate auction – I was giddy after getting that! I have lots of finds I’ve found over the summer on my blog too.
