Fantasy Friday: The Cottages At Cabot Cove!

by Diana @ The Devine Home on March 13, 2009

cabot-cove-cottagesSorry this is a bit late. I’m fighting a horrible cold that I caught from my hubby!

I’m always thrilled to discover beautiful B&Bs and other get aways that are well designed. The ambiance created by the decor is one of the reasons people escape to these little pieces of paradise. Even when times are tough and dollars aren’t as plentiful as they once were, an overnight getaway at a local B&B can make you feel like you’ve had a vacation!

This week we travel northeast to Maine and the Cottages at Cabot Cove. These little gems are a perfect romantic get away. I found them several years ago – they were part of a designer’s showcase project in Kennebunkport.cottages-at-cabot-cove

These little “love shacks” are available for rent from from May – Oct.  The setting overlooking Cabot Cove is quintessentially Maine.  Breakfast is delivered to your cottage each morning for you to enjoy on your private patio.

The cottages each have their own charm and personality created by a different interior designer. Check out these captivating charmers here.
