Today’s fantasy takes us to the shores of the Guadalupe River for some warm Texas hospitality at Lamb’s Rest Inn, a charming and romantic inn in the heart of the Texas hill country.
My hubby and I visited Texas hill country two years ago for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. We’d love to go back and this time I would plan on a stay here at the Lambs Rest Inn.
It’s located less than a mile from the historic village of Gruene in New
Braunfels. The grounds are amazing and the back yard is along the Guadalupe River. Doesn’t this look amazing? What a “back yard”!!
The Inn is furnished with antiques, custom pieces, and the innkeeper’s collections.
They have six guest rooms feature down comforters, luxurious linens and robes, TVs, wireless internet, private baths some with spa tubs, fireplaces, signature soaps and shampoo.
They serve a buffet/plus breakfast mid-week and a delicious full gourmet breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and their award winning chocolate chip cookies are available daily.
Did someone say chocolate? Sounds like the perfect place for a girl’s getaway, don’t you think?

I’d love too ooohlala!! Actually a group of my co-workers, and our hubbys are renting a mini mansion on the Guadalupe the 1st weekend of Oct. , we are all so looking forward. There are quite a few private beauties on the Guadalupe for rent, you just have to screen thru alot to find the gems. This place you’re show casing, is beautiful, and the 1st I’ve heard of it!
