Fantasy (Becomes Reality) Friday

We continue this Friday with another fantasy home. I am excited to say that I am actually part of this fantasy home’s story because I was married there!warner hall1 300x171 Fantasy (Becomes Reality) Friday

The Inn at Warner Hall is in an amazing B&B in Gloucester, Virgina. The romance and history of this waterfront plantation traverses centuries. It was established by George Washington’s great-great grandfather in 1642.  It was lovingly restored by the inn keepers & their talented team of experts and is now a wonderfully romantic getaway.

The Inn was a perfect place for our wedding since my hubby wanted to be married some place historic and I wanted to be married in a place of beauty (no surprise there, huh?) The manor house embodies simple elegance and the inn’s keepers  made our wedding weekend “magical” as described by those in attendance. We were married on the landing atop the grand staircase and after the ceremony I surprised my new husband with a fireworks show.fireworks 200x300 Fantasy (Becomes Reality) Friday

We plan on returning next year to celebrate our fifth anniversary. I invite you to take a virtual trip to Warner Hall. You’ll see why Virgina is for lovers.

Forget your BMWs, Ann Taylor outfits, or living in a trendy zip code. Being married to a man who is the love of your life and sharing your heart and soul with him on a daily basis is the most amazing gift from God.
