spring table 269x300 Entertaining Ideas: Weekend BrunchSpring is a great time to open your doors and let the celebrating begin. To refresh your hostess skills, consider attending your local Pottery Barn’s free class on Sunday, March 15 called, “Hosting a Weekend Brunch.”

The class description says, “hosting a memorable brunch should be as enjoyable as attending it. Learn how to set the perfect table and create the ideal centerpiece for your gathering.”

Call for time and to reserve your spot. Locally, the  Pottery Barn in Beachwood Place will hold the class is at 10:30 am on that Sunday.

Looking for table ideas for a teacher’s snack (serving about 30)…served buffet style. I already have the menu:

healthy gorp (almonds, cranberries, nuts etc)
water
citrus slices
granola bars

Then on Thursday:
Irish tea party:
teas
small scones
small shamrock sugar cookies
water
strawberries

I have some ideas, and love the M.S. photo idea, and would love to attend the potter barn expo…on Sunday’s we are in church!

So you need some table decorating ideas? Will this be happening during school? Where will the table(s) be set up? Is there a theme beyond “teacher’s snack). I always find it’s best to work with a theme which provides a built-in frame work. Give us some more ideas. I’m sure we can help.

P.S. We’re in church too, so I won’t be attending the event either.
