Decking Out The Deck: Part II

cassie deck patio furniture closeup Decking Out The Deck: Part IISo we rented the truck from Lowes to haul back our three large boxes of patio furniture. Well worth the $30 truck rental fee!

We bought pieces from the Cranston Collection from Allen + Roth, one of my favorite brands for drapes! They are located in San Diego where I used to live.

Outdoor furniture is actually one place where I like to buy matching/coordinating pieces, especially for a long deck like ours. There is something about buying all from one line that helps create a cohesive look.

I thought the darker finish on the set would help to ground the lighter-colored deck which makes a nice backdrop. Just with this small change the deck already it looks like a more inviting place.cassie patio after with furniture Decking Out The Deck: Part II

Now if the humidity would scram, we could enjoy some time out on the deck listening to music, enjoying a cold lemonade and the tranquility. If we’re lucky we might even catch a peek of the family of deer or wild turkeys who like to visit our pond.cassie pond 2010 summer Decking Out The Deck: Part II

Beautiful property, love the deck color and the furniture. We grounded our outdoor family room with an outdoor rug, just hose it off to clean.
Just found your blog, I’m loving it.
