Chalk boards are the hot accessory these days. We are seeing them everywhere. They make a fun & functional accessory but they are not just for hanging on walls anymore!

Another creative idea is the use an existing piece of furniture as a chalk board just like Heather at Whipperberry. Her armoire makes a cute 
chalkboard menu!
All of these are such great ideas! One note, however, chalk is messy and produces dust!
A client of mine is a school teacher and he would absolutely not let his wife and I put a chalk board in their kitchen. He did not want to put up with the dust. So, word to the wise if you decide to chalk something!
